The Society has maps of various types and to various scales of the BiH Karst Territories, obtained from various sources in Montenegro, Hungary, and Vienna, Austria! We have decided to use the type and scale of Map appropriate to the presentational need. We may occasionally replace the Maps presented here with more appropriate ones. It is not our intention to provide a general key to the generic symbols used on the Maps. The image below is taken from a 1 : 25000 Scale Map, where the contours are at 10m. intervals with each 50m contour represented as a thicker line. The Map has been reproduced here at an angle in order to optimize the use of space and image-quality, whilst minimizing memory-wastage.
